Thank you to all of our contestants who participated in the First Annual Lincoln Square Halloween Costume Contest! With over 50 terrific entries, our judges had a difficult time deciding the winners for our categories.

Louise Lamson is an actor in Chicago and an artistic associate of Lookingglass Theatre Company. She recently became a mother to 3 month old Guthrie. She will be in the winter show at Lookingglass called Wooden Breeks. She likes running, photography, and traveling. |

Judy Ledgerwood is a renowned painter and professor at Northwestern University. After serving as Chair of the Department of Art Theory and Practice for the last 3 years, Judy is on leave working in her studio and spending her spare time with projects such as judging halloween costume contests. |
After much intense deliberation, the winners are....
We'd like to note that the Zombie Doctor was a strong contender for Most Original as well! The judges thought this costume was "scary and ironic, combining the undead with the life-force-sustainer good doctor. This is a ghoulish delight that is the best this holiday offers aside from the treats."
Congratulations to our winners, who will each receive a $35 gift certificate to either Timeless Toys, City Mouse, or the Book Cellar. They will also receive a complimentary portrait session to jookie, a portrait boutique on their next birthday and 2-5x7s of them in their costume from the contest! We will contact all of the winners to drop by and pick up their prizes.
