Here are a few sneak peeks of the furry little kids from this year’s annual pet portrait fundraiser for New Leash on Life. Maximus, Isabelle, Otis, Boo Boo, Hannah, Hailey, Chloe, Clyde, Dude, Maggie and Molly helped us raise $670 for their fellow canine friends.
As many of you know, the adorable Little Green Baby is located right next to jookie and recently underwent new ownership. They almost have their new website done and are looking for some little green babies and kids to help kick it off. They’re holding a casting call for web and print models, and jookie gets to photograph them! All of the models will receive a complimentary keepsake photograph from their shoot. Little Green Baby is accepting kids up to age 6. All applicants will be judged by an independent third party (to be named at result time). Please review the details here before applying.

It’s only July, but as our experienced clients know, it’s time to think ahead and schedule your fall portrait session. To encourage you to schedule early for the “holiday season,” all families who book a session and pay for it at the open house (to be photographed between September 2nd and October 15th with an ordering appointment* by November 2nd), will receive a $50 credit toward a portrait collection or Canvas Collection.
The first 20 families to arrive will receive a goody bag with a cd from Laura Doherty, a gift certificate for a free class at Bloom Yoga Studio and a $10 gift certificate for a first treatment at The Nest. As if that’s not enough incentive to come see us, the first 20 folks who book will have the chance to win a gift certificate for a 60 minute Wellness Massage to Bloom Yoga Studio and a set of 3 mini books from your portrait session. Then stop on over to Little Green Baby for more birthday fun they’ll be serving up and to Bloom Yoga Studio who will be offering an outdoor family yoga class at 2 pm to help us celebrate!
And don’t forget that families who photograph by October 15th and order their holiday cards by November 2nd receive 10 complimentary cards for every 40 ordered. ALL are welcome to the Open House, whether to book a session, check out jookie’s new gallery space, or just enjoy some wonderful live music and delicious cupcakes!
*August 2010 session pricing will be in effect and online galleries are only available AFTER your ordering appointment and final order.
